- Welcome
Creating our lives is not a new concept. However, it is also not a mainstream concept.
This bi-weekly tipzine will let you in on the “secrets” of those that have lives they love and create their world every day they’re alive. If you don’t believe that’s possible (the creation-part), then just keep reading. Maybe some day you’ll change your mind.
If you do believe, but you’re not sure how to go about it all, just keep reading for the gold. You know how you can read something several times and get a deeper, more powerful understanding of the words or the meaning each time? Well, that’s the “gold” I’m talking about.
If you do believe and you know exactly of what is spoken here, then come to http://envisionthebestyou.tipzu.com and join a forum or create your own. Let others know what has worked for you in your experience. And remember, Envision The Best You is about fun, ease and lightness. Don’t let yourself be too heavy when contributing to the conversation.
We are creating a safe haven for those who are interested in living fully and powerfully.

- What There Is To Say
The Irony Of It All - We want to save the world, each one of us, in our own way. Some of us save the world by saving the animals, the almost-extinct or the ones in our own backyard. Some of us want to do the right thing by others out there in the world, so we write letters to Congressional pundits about the issues close to our hearts. Some of us recycle avidly. Some of us feed the hungry. Some of us house the homeless and care for the indigent. Some of us speak out for the elderly and the sick. Some of us are a Big Brother or Sister to a child or a mentor to others. Some of us fight the "good fight" for those who we believe cannot do it for themselves. In whatever way we believe we can help, or be of service, we participate. We do what we can; what we know best; what inspires us. We, each of us, have our way in which we want to save the world... before it’s too late.
The irony in that?
We, each one of us, destroy a little piece of our world every day.
We speak poorly of one another not realizing how destructive this is to our personal relationship with ourselves and with others.
We believe that our voice has little or no power in the world; that we are not heard by those in positions of power, and we don’t realize how detrimental this belief is to our spirit. Besides, this belief is incorrect. Every day, ordinary folks prove what a difference one voice can make.
We buy new things thinking they will make us happy and that if we recycle, it will justify buying more new things. New cars, new homes in new developments, new computers, new furniture, new toys for the kids, new, new, new. It is the overproduction of all “things” that depletes our environment. And then we consider ourselves powerless to change it, because that’s just the way it is (to quote the song by Bruce Hornsby).
We have very little appreciation for the old; old things, old traditions and old people.
We overeat and over-drink to numb our emotional pain.
And no matter what we think, that these things won’t kill us or that these things won’t hurt us, we damage our integrity and our commitment to ourselves.
We opt for little white lies to ourselves rather than confront that there is a greater level of commitment to our word that we can have. Integrity like Martin Luther King, Jr. or Gandhi or Jesus or Buddha or Mohammed had. Integrity is a matter of honoring one’s word as one’s self. And many of us don’t relate to our word like that. We think that’s for the noble few, but it’s really because…
We’re afraid to.
Our fear leads to no integrity. Our non-integrity leads to self-sabotage. And our self-sabotage lessens and damages who we say ourselves to be in the world. The world we’re all trying to save.
Love is all you need (to quote a song by The Beatles). Love yourself and build your commitment to your truth with one action every day. Time is on your side. There is more than enough of it. All things are abundant.
Begin to see that there is time to get your life and your integrity in order if you begin today with one small step.
Remember you are your word.
Remember your integrity is the one thing that is completely yours in this world. It can never be taken away.
Remember not to replace your emotions with new things or gossip or food or alcohol.
Choose new ways to bring your truth into existence every day, ways that inspire you and the folks around you.
Save the world by saving your “self” and your truth.
It’s your choice. Choose powerfully.

- Fun and Games
After a heavy meal, like the one above, I always like to simply digest it. I’ll give you a game that’s really simple and can be fun. This will take about a half-hour (or more, depending on how deep you get into it).
Stand in front of a mirror. And look into it. Yes, this is the game.
Gaze at yourself in the mirror. See all there is to see. Then begin.
This is a version of the alphabet game. So take a look and beginning with the letter “A”, pick something on yourself that begins with the letter “A”. Now, this is the trick. While you’re looking in the mirror at your body, you don’t have to physically see the something that begins with “A”. You could choose “adventurous” or you can choose “anatomy”. Whatever you choose, make sure you believe that it’s actually there.
I mean, don’t sucker yourself into believing you’re “adventurous”, if you’re not. But also, don’t sell yourself short either. If there’s an adventurous person resting inside of you, then name “adventurous” and believe that it is possible for you. Remember, anything is possible.
Then simply go down the alphabet. The trick is to be with you and not leave before the end.
The fun?
It’s your choice. Choose powerfully.

- Familiar Quote
We’re revisiting this one because it fits this tipzine just as well as the last. Check for a new one below.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson, A Return To Love
“Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
